While the Garmin Forerunner 205 doesn't offer heart rate monitoring, or connectivity with Garmin's wireless speed and cadence sensor it's a great way to get basic GPS location and performance data.
The Forerunner 205 has a nice simple button layout and the buttons have a nice tactile feel with very good pressure response. The right hand side is for the menu selection and enter buttons, while the left houses a power & backlight button and the mode button. We consider this to be a big improvement over the sometimes confusing button functionality of previous Forerunners.
